Experience includes:
- More than two decades experience in planning and regeneration in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Roles include Head of Planning Aid England, Vice Chair of the National Planning Forum, Planning Chair for Civic Voice, CABE Enabler and team leader in local government.
- Advising on major schemes and major infrastructure
- Involvement in various Government groups, reviews and Select Committees on permitted development, nationally significant infrastructure projects, heritage protection, reform of the planning system, regeneration, community engagement, etc.
- Adviser to various national and UK organisations on emerging planning legislation, policy and resources
- Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Accredited Building for Life assessor.
